    Fridays are writing lessons for me and Alice. We continued using her story from the comic she wrote to talk about writing strategies. Today, we talked about how to write dialogue. I gave Alice a brief lesson on quotation marks and other dialogue related structures. 

    For the activity, we chose one scene from the story we wrote last week and wrote out the dialogue for it. We had three characters talking to each other. I included a snippet from the dialogue below showing how we addressed problems in grammar when we reviewed the dialogue. 

    Alice really enjoys having some creative freedom when it comes to her lessons, so I will continue to incorporate as much as possible.
