Alice and I talked about conjunctions today. I presented the idea of conjunctions to Alice by calling it "combining sentences". I gave her a brief lesson on how we can make two sentences into one better sentence by using words called conjunctions. We started with a word bank of conjunctions and went over them one by one. We worked through some practice sentences to model how conjunctions work before moving on to having Alice practice them on her own. Alice struggled a bit with conjunctions, so we will review them in our next lesson as well. We talked about Christmas a lot in this lesson.
