Today we started with a YouTube video. This was a funny video featuring SNL cast member Fred Armisen doing a comedy standup bit about different American accents. I thought it was very helpful to show Soojin just how diverse America is and how many different accents it has. Then, we went over very common expressions used in English such as "off the charts," "gray area," etc. We then went over common slang terms used in American English. Finally, we played Would You Rather again! It was a very good session.
