Alice and I talked about the simple past and simple future tense in this lesson. We started with a mini-lecture on what the simple past and simple future mean. For simplicity's sake, we made sure to use the words today, tomorrow, and yesterday in our sentences. We then worked through 5 practice sentences to model how we change sentences to talk about the past or the future. After that, I had Alice change words from present tense to both future and past tense. Finally, I had Alice tell me what tense 5 practice sentences were written in.
