For our conversation meeting, Alice and I talked about the cultural shock that she experienced in the USA. Like she said in class, she was surprised by the fact that Americans eat pizza with different toppings than in Italy. We also talked about how hurricanes are a natural part of a Floridian's life while they were very scary for her when she first moved. We compared that to how she is very used to earthquakes while I have never experienced one. We also talked about how the climates in both Italy and Florida are similar.
