Tutee: Soojin
For today's session, Soojin and I continued with food vocabulary. We started the session with a video to help her with having conversation. The video was of different Christians talking about their different views within Christianity. We then went over more common cooking/food terms. Soojin asked if we could go over different vocabulary words that she could use to describe feelings, so I found a list of more advanced vocabulary words related to feelings. We went through the list together and I typed up the definitions and example sentences. I noticed that I need to do more preparation beforehand in writing down the definitions of the words so that I can do a better job of explaining the differences between them. I found that I was taking too long to think of a good way to describe the meaning of the words. It's interesting to me how for native English speakers, the meaning is kind of obvious but it's so hard to describe!
