 On July 27^th, Dave and I met on Zoom where I had developed a lesson similar to standardized tests. It was a short reading about the Rio Grande. I paired it with a brief amateur documentary about the river Rio Grande to build more background knowledge. After watching the video and reading the passage twice, we answered the first four questions which were only multiple choice. They were, however, more difficult reading comprehension questions that I remember being similar to questions from my experience in standardized testing. I wanted to introduce these lessons to Dave so he could have more practice answering them.
