This lesson was on August 7th and as the last Friday we were meeting, it was our last virtual National Park tour. We did two this session because they ended up being short tours. We first went to Dry Tortugas National Park in Florida and I explained to him how important coral reefs were to marine sea life! I also had to pull up a map to show him just how far off shore this National Park was and it was a good learning experience for both of us! Then, we did the Kenai Fjords tour in Alaska and I went through exactly how to pronounce fjord for Dave. There we learned about glaciers and the terrain of Alaska.
