On August 5th, Dave and I met over Zoom to continue our lesson on subordinating conjunctions. Dave also told me he was beginning school again soon where he isn’t in ESL classes. He also said his classes wouldn’t be in person which worried me! During the lesson I went back to the worksheet which included more exercises and we discussed the differences in conjunctions! Then I revisited Schoolhouse Rock (because why not) and asked him to highlight rules and examples from the lyrics. He said he enjoyed Schoolhouse Rock because it rhymed and was easy enough to remember.
