I met Alessandra this morning (August 11th), and we worked on her reading and speaking skills. I shared an article on my screen about languages in Italy. We read the article together, I read it out loud first, and then I asked her to read it. We analysed every new word, the grammar structure and the meaning of each sentence. Afterwards I asked Alessandra to explain, using her own words, the languages and dialects that people speak in Italy, depending on the region. We used a map of Italy so Alessandra could use it as a visual helper meanwhile she was speaking.
