On August 3rd, Dave and I met on Zoom for our lesson on conjunctions. I was excited for this lesson because I was finally able to incorporate Schoolhouse Rock into one of my lessons. I showed Dave a list of conjunctions and asked how familiar he was with them before I showed him the Schoolhouse Rock video. I then shared my screen with a worksheet I found online that offered practice fill-in-the-blank exercises. I introduced the topic of subordinating conjunctions but reserved the continuing lesson for the next session.
