Alice got a new set of books that she is very excited about. They are a higher reading level than her previous books, and she wanted to try reading them to me. Alice has an incredible intrinsic motivation to become a better reader as she loves to read and always wants to tell me stories. We read two books today. One was about two friends that go on an adventure to save a unicorn and the other was about starting a new school. The second book was actually one that I had read as a child and when I told Alice that she got even more excited. I corrected any reading errors that Alice made while she was speaking.
