Alice and I met on zoom again and talked more about her experiences working in the USA. Particularly in the south where there are different dialects, it can be difficult for her to understand when people talk quickly. I talked about how I grew up in the south which meant that a huge part of the culture was centered around church and Christianity. We talked a lot about how people go through experiences that can make them change from the dominant culture in their hometowns. We also talked about how people can become comfortable in their "bubbles" and not venture outside their own culture in both Italy and the USA.
