I met Alessandra on August 3, 2020. The session was focused on her reading and speaking skills. I introduced a short story. First, I read it out loud, then I asked her to read it. Next, we analysed every single word (intensive reading). I gave her definitions and examples to better memorise the words. At the end I asked her to summarise the story using her own words, After this first activity I asked her to share a short story. I gave her 5 different topics to choose from. I gave her 10 minutes to write a brief outline of her story. When she was ready she told me her story. I took notes, and I spent the last part of the session giving her feedback.
