Naomi TS #4

On July 15th, at 8 am, I had my fourth tutoring session with Je-ah. We went over summer and winter sports. I tried to incorporate the information that we went over in the last session by having her tell me which sports she liked and disliked. I modeled how to form the sentences and then had her tell me her likes and dislikes as it related to sports. She was able to pick up the vocabulary exceptionally quickly. Since the sentences were simple, she was also able to form them with relative ease. I could see that speaking full sentences was something that Je-ah was cable of doing since she had the vocabulary knowledge, but it was something she was not fully comfortable doing. So far, she had only given me one-word responses. In the next lesson, I want to continue challenging her to speak more sentences. In this lesson, we also played act it out. It was an activity that Je-ah enjoyed. Therefore, I will try to incorporate more activities that involve movement.
