• the struggle he and other CIES students have in meeting and spending time with native English speakers
• gave some advice for how to find some people with similar interests that he could meet and hang out with

• Critical Incident:
  
• in Saudi Arabia, people are much more neighborly
• so, when my CP moved into his apartment, he went next door to introduce himself, as he would in his home country, but people didn't reciprocate very kindly 
  
• in Saudi Arabia, it used to be that Wednesdays and Thursdays were their weekend, but it has  changed to Thursday and Friday
  
• Friday is a religious day for them, and everyone knows not to ask someone to hang out or anything on Fridays
