- helped tutee with his applications and the questions he had on them
- helped tutee write an email to ask a question concerning his application
Lesson(s) I learned about tutoring and/or tutee:
- FSU is my tutee's second choice of grad school, with his first choice being FIT
- sometimes when my tutee comes across an issue in his applications, his first response is to just forget about the school and move on to others instead of contacting someone to try and resolve the issue
- I try to encourage him to ask before giving up on it, but I'm obviously not going to force him
