Marcia and I spoke today about the election processes in Korea, Brazil, and the United States. We also talked about the different candidates as I told her about my experience working for a state-level politician here in Orlando. She said she was especially interested in the election this year because, with COVID-19, it will be a more intense race. Before, she thought Trump would win again, but after seeing how the last few months have played out, she is feeling more uncertain about it. We also talked about critical incidents and I told her about my experience with toilets in China while she explained her own experience with the difference between toilet paper and paper towel when she first moved to the states. From there she told me about an incident that occurred at the CIES building in which a pipe burst due to a mix up between which paper product can be flushed down the toilet. Our conversation was very good and we both apologized for having forgotten our previous agreement to talk on Sunday. Our last conversation will be tomorrow.
