I had my first conversation partner meeting today, July 3, with Abdulaziz. We had a great conversation and talked about many things! Abdulaziz speaks English very well and is looking to apply for a master's degree in engineering in the United States. We started our conversation by introducing ourselves and talking about the activity Mr. Valentine sent us. We also discussed some different nature activities to do in Florida and around the United States. We talked about the differences and similarities between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and why Abdulaziz chose to settle in Tallahassee; he chose to come to Tallahassee because of the weather! He also thinks that Florida is a great place with lots of things to do. We talked a great deal about food as well. I really enjoyed this conversation partner session and I look forward to meeting with Abdulaziz again next week!
