Alice CP#1

Today I was finally able to meet one of my conversation partner, Hongru. He is from China and he has been living in Florida for one year and, yet, his fluency is pretty impressing. We were able to talk about a variety of topics, I first introduced myself, giving him few details about me, but I didn't want to focus the conversation on too many personal information, I like the idea of knowing someone in the most natural way, even through a Zoom call. So after my first introduction we started talking about Hongru's life, in general, and about his experience in the USA. We exchanged few thoughts about the cultural shock that we both experienced at the beginning and we explored the American culture deep enough to wisely decide to have a lighter conversation next time! We had a really good chance to express opinions, thoughts and also feelings, not bad for a first meeting!
